Song of the Bones

Zo li mache, li mache, li mache

I owed myself to dust, as clay

I was, and am again.

My eyes turned opal, that I may

See all my debts repaid.

My flesh is earth incarnate, laid

As tribute with my bones:

For I will rest as I was then,

A martyr to the stones.
